How to enable crossfading between songs in Apple Music
Don’t you hate the awkward silence between songs in your Apple Music playlist? You can solve this problem with the Crossfade feature, which switches between songs for a smooth listening experience and is available for iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows.
To enable Crossfade on your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Music > Crossfade. Introduced in iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, this feature enables smooth transitions between songs. If you activate this function, you will find that at the end of the current song, the sound disappears and the next song disappears, giving you a richer listening experience.
To enable cross-streaming in Apple Music on your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app and tap Music.
Turn on the switch next to “Crossfade,” then use the slider to adjust the amount of time between the end of the current song and the end of the next song.
And that’s all. You can now launch the Apple Music app on your iPhone or iPad and enjoy smooth transitions between songs with the Crossfade feature.

If you want to turn off the crossfade function in the future, you can select “Off”.
